Design and Implementation of Real-Time Kitchen Monitoring and Automation System Based on Internet of Things

Automation can now be found in nearly every industry. However, home automation has yet to reach Pakistan. This paper presents an Internet of Things smart kitchen project that includes and monitoring. In this project, a system was developed automatically detects the temperature. It also monitors humidity level kitchen. built-in gas detection sensors detect any leaks notify user if pressure exceeds certain level. allows remotely control appliances such as freezers, ovens, air conditioners using mobile phone. The levels their phone with system. paper, ESP32, DHT11 Sensor, 5 V Relay X 8, MQ-135 create by controlling temperature, managing humidity, detecting leakage. built on Arduino board is connected Internet. hardware integrated programmed Arduino, Android application developed. project’s goal allow smartphone devices. method commonly used homes, businesses, grocery stores. Users will able all instruments from anywhere, including switches, fans, lights. Furthermore, simulation performed Matlab2016b multiple houses. simulation, not only considered, but two, four, six Each house two bedrooms, one living room, guest bathrooms, results revealed have scientifically significant impact electricity consumption cost. case houses, cost USD 33.32, 32.64, 22.32, 19.54 for unscheduled, respectively.
